Our Vision
To be a catalyst for diverse, inclusive, equitable, and sustainable communities where every resident, immigrant, newcomer, indigenous, and marginalized person(s) can thrive with dignity and opportunity.
Our Mission
To mobilize resources, partnerships, and community-driven initiatives that will advance education, socio-cultural integration, poverty relief, environmental sustainability, human-capital and infrastructure development, while championing the rights and welfare of immigrants, newcomers, vulnerable groups, and underserved populations in Canada, Nigeria, and beyond.
Our Core Purposes
As a charitable organization, CFRIN is committed to establishing, receiving, and maintaining funds, and applying them responsibly to deliver high-impact programs in the following core areas:
Advancement of Canada 2050/United Nations 2030 Agenda, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Millenium Development Goals (MDGs)
We work in alignment with global best practices to promote sustainability, gender equality, climate action, and socio-economic resilience, while ensuring that no one is left behind.
Educational, Socio-Cultural, Economic, and Environmentally Sustainable Projects
We design and implement accessible educational programs, skills development, vocational training, cultural exchange initiatives, recreational events, and green projects that empower individuals and communities to break cycles of disadvantage.
Relief of Poverty and Humanitarian Support
Our programs provide direct relief to children, families, and communities facing poverty through children’s aid initiatives, food banks, clothing distribution, shelter services, and coordinated humanitarian responses to crisis situations and emergencies.
Support for Vulnerable, Indigent, and Homeless Persons
We advocate for and support some of the most at-risk members of our society, including individuals experiencing homelessness, people with terminal illnesses, and those requiring hospice and palliative care services.
Sponsorship of Immigrants and Support for Newcomer Settlement
Recognizing Canada’s diverse and growing immigrant population, CFRIN sponsors and supports immigrants, refugees, and protected persons, offering settlement services that ease transition, promote inclusion, and build welcoming communities.
Developmental Infrastructure for Indigenous Groups, Persons of Colour, and Other Marginalized Communities
We champion equitable infrastructure development, creating pathways for economic empowerment and social advancement for Indigenous peoples, racialized communities, and other historically disadvantaged groups.
